Bringing It Home… from TGS and X06!

Following on from the success of ‘E3: Bringing It Home’ last May, Xbox will deliver all the excitement of Tokyo Game Show 2006 and X06 direct to your Xbox 360. From 20-29 September, anyone connected to Xbox Live can download the latest game demos, preview trailers and highlights from V.I.P. press conferences taking place in Tokyo and Barcelona. Nice.

No worries if you don’t have Xbox Live Gold membership because Bringing It Home for TGS and X06 neatly coincides with free week on Xbox Live, also running 20-29 September. Simply plugging a broadband connection into your Xbox 360 gives you standard Xbox Live Silver membership; enough to take advantage of everything going down on Xbox Live across these nine amazing days.

Bring it home

More than 100 pieces of new downloadable content will be available from TGS and X06 combined, including yet another iconic gaming series on Xbox Live Arcade. We’re keeping the game demos secret, but check out some of our game videos:

  • Call of Duty 3 (Activision)
  • Forza Motorsport 2 (Microsoft Game Studios)
  • Kayne & Lynch: Dead Men (Eidos)
  • Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom (Microsoft)
  • Project Sylpheed (Square-Enix)
  • Shrek the Third  (Activision)
  • Viva Piñata (Microsoft Game Studios)
  • High definition videos from games announced at TGS and X06

If all this isn’t enough (!), picture packs and themes for titles including Alan Wake, Fable 2, Mass Effect and Forza Motorsport 2 will be introduced to Xbox Live Marketplace during the same period.

Xbox Live Silver memberships will be upgraded automatically at 00:01am local time on 20 September. Bringing It Home content from TGS and X06 will be available until 9am CET (8am GMT) on 30 September, so grab it while it’s hot!
