  1. No purchase necessary.  To be eligible to win, a participant must be a resident of Canada and thirteen (13) years or older. Any potential participant who is an employee of Microsoft Corporation or Microsoft Canada Co. (“Microsoft”), their affiliated companies, advertising agencies, prize suppliers or other representatives, or a member of the respective immediate families of such employees or anyone with whom such employees are domiciled is ineligible to participate in the competition.
  2. The competition will begin Thursday Nov 16 at 9pm E
  3. From time to time during the Competition Period, Microsoft will announce at www.xbox.com/ca  (i) when a Microsoft employee, identified by the gamer id MysteryGamerCdn (the “Mystery Gamer”) will be on Xbox Live® online game service; and (ii) which game the Mystery Gamer will play.  Participants will then have the opportunity to play against the Mystery Gamer.  The Mystery Gamer will be online for one (1) hour or until he/she losses. 
  4. Each participant who beats the Mystery Gamer will win a watch (approximate retail value of $90.00).   A participant can only win one (1) prize per year. The prize will not be awarded in the event of a tie.  To receive the prize, a winning participant must send an e-mail to mystgmr@microsoft.com stating time and date of the game won as well as their name and address.  The name and address will only be used to facilitate delivery of the prize.
  5. The prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be provided.  Microsoft reserves the right to substitute the prizes described above in (4) with prizes of equal or greater value.
  6. By entering, all participants agree to abide by the official rules and regulations and decisions of Microsoft with respect to the competition which are final. 
  7. The winner may be required to sign a declaration and release to: (a) confirm compliance with the official rules and regulations; (b) release Microsoft from all liability; (c) accept the prize as awarded; and (d) consent to the use of the participant’s name, address, likeness and/or image for publicity purposes in all mediums. Microsoft reserves the right, at its option, to publish any winner’s name, address, photograph, likeness, voice or statement without further compensation to the winner.
  8. The competition is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
  9. Microsoft reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the competition should causes beyond the control of Microsoft corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.
  10. Microsoft assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction to or unauthorized alteration of the entries.  Microsoft is not responsible for (i) any problems or technical malfunctions or any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software; (ii) traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site; or (iii) any combination thereof, including any injury or related damage to participants or any other persons, whether computer-related or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in this competition.
