Xbox Ambassadors Announced

We were overwhelmed by the huge response we got from the Xbox® community! Thousands of you volunteered to serve as Xbox Ambassadors for the Free Xbox Live® Gold Weekend. We love that you want to help people and give back to the community, so we're going to extend the program beyond this weekend.

If you weren't selected for this first round of Ambassadors, don't despair! You are all still on the list and will be hearing from us soon!

So who did we choose for the weekend? We've got nearly three hundred Xbox Live members ready to help you out, play games with you, talk you through some common issues, and generally be your buddy.

Ambassadors include Xbox Live beta testers, Xbox MVPs, PMS Clan girls, customer service professionals, Hex 168 winners, nurses, Marines, teachers, cancer researchers, fan site editors, moms, dads, students, and several Xbox team members. We've even got the guy who wore the armor for the Halo® 2 launch in Times Square!

Ambassadors include gamers from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Scotland, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Japan, and Italy. We have Ambassadors who speak English, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Chinese and French.

Check out the Xbox Ambassador gamertags. Now that we've got friends management on My Xbox, just add them to your friends list now and you'll be all set for the weekend.
