Jade sits down and chats with Chris Bosh about life, basketball, and Xbox LIVE.

Chris Bosh is one of the NBA's brightest young stars.  Drafted in 2003 by the Toronto Raptors, Bosh has quickly become a fan favourite and a proven team leader.  He is the epitome of what an NBA star should be both on and off court, and just like most of us, also likes to wind down with an Xbox 360 and hanging out with friends on Xbox LIVE.  Let’s get to know the man known as CB4 a bit better...

Jade : Do you consider yourself a hardcore gamer? How did you first get into gaming?

CB4 : I don't consider myself a hardcore gamer, I just like to win every game that I play. I've been gaming since I could remember. It all started with Mario Brothers on NES and after that, I was hooked.

What Xbox 360 games are you playing right now? What's your favourite game of all time?

Right now I'm playing Halo 3 and Madden 2008 and that's really it. My favorite all time would have to be Madden Football. I've been playing that game every year since '95.

Are you as competitive on Xbox Live as you are on the court?
 
I'm a competitive person anyway so I'm pretty serious on xbox Live. I just like to win so that kind oftakes over in every competition that I'm in.

Do you play against other guys on the team online, or in person?

I play Juan Dixon in Madden and that's it. We've only played once and he beat me so there are going to be many more games in the future.

Who's the best "Halo 3" player on the Raptors? Who's the best "Madden" player?

I'm definitely the best at both Halo 3 and Madden, it's not even close.

Have any of your NBA on court rivalries carried over into Xbox Live?

Not yet. Right now I'm looking for some guys around the league who have a gamer tag so we can play.

Where do you do most of your gaming? At home? On the road? How do you find the time?

I always play at home. I have a nice set up there and it's really comfortable. I usually play after practice or on off days.

What's your Xbox Live Gamerscore? Do you tend to play to get Achievements?

I think I'm at around 590 on my Gamerscore. I really don't play for achievements, but if I get them I'm happy.

What do you think about video gaming becoming a professional sport? Why are you thinking of sponsoring a professional gaming team?
 
I think Gaming becoming a Professional sport is good. If people enjoy playing it and enjoy watching people compete they should do it. I want to sponsor a team because I have a passion for gaming and I think it's going to be a big thing in the near future.

Were you at all worried going into the Madden Tournament at nDEX? Did you practice like mad in advance?
 
To be honest I was worried a little when I found out that I'd be playing the winner of the whole tournament. I practiced a lot to get ready, but I didn't know what to expect. You have to be pretty good to win a gaming tournament so I expected the guys to be really good.
