Every year the E3 descends on the Xbox Community with a bevy of new game previews and exciting announcements. Whether it's brand new technology like Kinect or really cool new games it's always fun getting a sneak peak at what we'll all be enjoying in the coming months.
With E3 2011 just around the corner, everyone's anticipating different things. With so many new titles to check out it can be hard to know where to start. That's why, with the help of the Xbox.ca Community, I've compiled a short list of some games that you'll definitely want to get a second glance at once the show starts.

Though we've already enjoyed the multiplayer beta, there's still a lot of mystery surrounding the Gears of War 3 campaign. A new trailer recently dropped, showcasing some elements of the story including a few horrific shots of the new Lambent enemies. A lot is still left to be explained, but everyone is definitely excited to see just how Gears of War 3's co-op campaign will pan out.
Batman: Arkham City
With the Joker taking over all of Gotham, who knows what madness will befall players in Batman: Arkham City. Recent previews for the game have shown villains like Mr. Freeze, Catwoman, Two-Face and the mysterious Hugo Strange finally making their appearance and a full city to play in, this looks like it'll be one epic Bat-Showdown.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
It wouldn't be E3 without news on the latest Call of Duty game, and Modern Warfare 3 looks like it will be a massive spectacle. An early tease from Activision has revealed the campaign will pick up right where Modern Warfare 2 left off and take players through France, Germany, England and America. In addition, Activision's announced a new service for hardcore Call of Duty fans called Elite, which will give them access to more personal statistics and map information than ever before.
Battlefield 3
With some of the most impressive in-game visuals seen this generation, previews for the new Battlefield 3 have put many Xbox.ca Community members in a state of disbelief. EA and DICE will be putting gamers' minds at ease when they show more of the game, showing off more of the hyper-realistic and utterly cinematic gameplay at E3.
Forza Motorsport 4
Gearheads rejoice; the king of online racing is back! Demoed at last year's E3, we saw an early version of the game featuring support for Kinect that allowed players to experience their luxury cars without the use of a controller. While more is to be announced at this year's show, you can bet that Forza 4 will be bringing more of the fun, life-like racing the series has always delivered.
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
When looking through the catalog of classic Xbox RPGs, the Elder Scrolls series always gets mentioned. Having waited 5 long years since Oblivion, fans of fantasy adventure are finally getting their sequel. With an epic plot centered on the rise of your character from prisoner to hero, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim will give players an opportunity to explore the massive province of Tamriel. Expect a lot more to be announced during this year's E3.
Plenty of Surprises
It wouldn't be E3 without surprise announcements and while it's impossible to accurately speculate on what'll be revealed, it's almost guaranteed there will be something exciting unveiled. A friend of mine with an inside scoop's convinced that this year's show-stealer will be an all-unicorn fighting game called Magic Unicorn Battle Infinity, but then again it could just be a rumor. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.
