A pass code is a four-button sequence on your controller - like a password, it protects your account from unwanted visitors. To set your pass code:
Modifying Your Billing Information
To switch credit cards or update your billing information for any reason;
If your billing information is invalid due to an expired card, your access to Xbox Live will be suspended until you provide new card information in your billing profile.
You will need a standard Visa, MasterCard, or a debit card branded with a Visa or MasterCard logo - your account must be linked to a valid credit card. You will not incur any additional charges without your explicit consent for the duration of the 12 months of service. If you want to use a debit card, a few restrictions apply:
Renewing Your Subscription
When your current Xbox Live subscription expires, your subscription will automatically be renewed into a new subscription. If your credit card cannot be confirmed, you will be notified and you must update your billing information.
Note You may also need to update your credit card information to re-subscribe, particularly if your old credit card has expired. With Xbox Live Now, the new Xbox Live Dashboard, you'll see more information about your current and next subscriptions, and be able to select other options for your next subscription plan. Opting In or Out of Information Sharing
You have the opportunity to opt in or opt out of getting more information from Microsoft and third-party publishers. If you opt in, you'll receive regular communications from Xbox Live about new games, content downloads, tournaments, events, competitions, and more. If you opt out, you won't. To opt in or out:
Choose Yes if you'd like to receive information about other products from Microsoft and our partners. Choose No if you don't want to receive this information.
