What the heck is "content download"?
It's never the same old game when you've got new stuff you can download. Andit's yours at the touch of a button.
Well, it's a variety of great stuff that you can download from the Xbox Live service. Stuff like new vehicles, weapons, skins, maps, levels, characters, spells, and team rosters for your favourite games. (Some of it's free, you'll be charged for the rest.) How much depends on what it is, but you will definitely be told how much it costs before you start downloading.
Download times depend on what exactly you're downloading, of course. A new race car might be pretty quick, but an entire village will probably take a bit longer. It will definitely be faster than downloading stuff on your old dial-up connection—that's the beauty of high-speed access.
Say you're a parent and don't much like the idea of your 14-year-old spending her college money on downloading grenade launchers for the latest first-person shooter. We give you the ability to disable the premium content with a pass code. If she begs and pleads and it's her birthday and she remembered to feed the dog, just re-enable premium content and start downloading!
