Multiplayer Demo Now Available

Armchair naval commanders, get ready to experience the massive air, sea, and undersea battles from World War II in the Pacific with a new multiplayer demo of Battlestations: Midway now available in Xbox Live® Marketplace.

The multiplayer demo features the Island of Solomon multiplayer map, where players will face off between American and Japanese forces. Get firsthand experience of this new action/strategy game set against a seascape teeming with aircraft carriers, fighter, torpedo, and dive bombing squadrons, naval destroyers, battleships, submarines, and more.

The battle objective? Be the first to destroy the enemy’s naval base, air base, and/or aircraft carrier.The last key unit standing will be the victor in this four-on-four muiltiplayer battle.

Solomon Islands
Japanese forces occupied the Solomon Islands in January 1942. The counter-attack was led by the United States—the 1st Division of the US Marine Corps landed on Guadalcanal and Tulagi in August 1942. Some of the fiercest fighting of World War II took place on the islands for almost three years.

Engage in large-scale naval combat.

This demo features a number of famous vessels. One of the carriers is the USS Yorktown and the Japanese battleship is the Kongo class. You'll also pilot Wildcat and Zero fighters, Dauntless dive bombers, and Avenger torpedo planes.
