Live Arcade: Uno

At A Glance
  • The best card game since Solitaire.

Uno. Just rolling that word of your tongue is bound to have some strong associations. Who hasn't played Uno? Since invented by a barber from Ohio in 1971, this beloved card came has become part of almost everyone's childhood. It continues to be a bestseller today.

Now, take your game online with Uno on Xbox Live™ Arcade. Play with friends in different states, hold your own Uno tournaments and even host Uno parties for up to four players. Can't find four? Have the computer fill a seat for you. This Xbox Live Arcade title even allows you to partner up, or play every man for himself.

Someone's down to the last card. Did they say it?

You can also play Eliminaton Uno. If a player cannot play a card, rather than drawing, he is eliminated. This makes for fast-paced, rather brutal games that could end long before anyone calls "Uno!" The strategy changes quite a bit in Elimination games, and you will find yourself paying much closer attention to the colors being played. In this style of game, any card that changes the color of the suit in play becomes extremely useful.

Xbox Live Arcade Uno also allows you to set your own house rules. If there's a particular rule that your family has used for generations, you don't have to give it up just because you're playing on your Xbox 360™ console. One final fun tidbit: Uno supports the Xbox camera, so you'll soon be able to have your picture right there when you shout out a gleeful "Uno!"
