Clyde, meet Clyde and Clyde and Clyde …

Cloning Clyde hits Xbox Live™ Arcade with a boom and a giggle. Yesterday you were just a regular guy with a few fancy moves you'd learned from watching kung fu movies, but you needed some extra dough, so you went down to the local science lab and voluneetered to be a test subject. You didn't know they'd be cloning you, and you didn't know there would be disasterous results.

Now you're on the run to escape the labs. To make things both easier and more complicated, there are all these other Clydes running around. You can't leave them behind. They're great guys! So, in between beating down guard robots, you'll be trying to rescue your DNA-sharing homies.

One Clyde, Two Clyde
Strangely enough, when you were cloned, the scientists also inadvertently cloned the Killer Kenn action figure you had in your pocket. You've been finding them all over the place. They'll be worth a bunch of money down at your local collectible shop. So if you see any on your way out of this crazy science complex, you might as well pick them up.

Those robot guards aren't helping any either. They're everywhere. You realized early on that there's no reasoning with them, so now you just have to walk up and lay a whole wallop of whoopass on them. The exit to a level won't open until they're all destroyed. Oh, and the exploding chickens that keep dropping in keep you on your toes, too.

It's a smorgasbord of Clydes!

Three Clyde, Four
You have a special connection with the other Clydes. You know what they're thinking and doing. You can even send them off to do things for you. You can make your mind leap from Clyde to Clyde with just a press of the Y button. Point with the glowing cursor to decide which Clyde you want to become next. It's a smorgasbord of Clydes!

It's so much easier now that you're not alone. You can use your fellow Clydes to help you escape. Usually, you'll need more than one of you to activate the mechanisms, push the buttons, and pull the levers you'll need to operate to make your escape.

Explore each level carefully to decide how many Clydes you're going to need, where you're going to want them to go, and how you're going to get them there. You'll need a strategy in order to solve many of the puzzles ahead of you.

Five Clyde, Six Clyde
The cloning hasn't just made more of you. It has also given you the ability to mix your DNA with that of other creatures to make yourself more useful, or at least more interesting.

Combine yourself with a sheep to gain better mobility. Join your DNA with a frog's to jump higher. Chicken DNA will gives you wings. You can even try blending yourself with a barrel of gunpowder for an explosively good time.

Although the cloning hurts, it's worth it if it means you can rescue more Clydes, find more Killer Kenn action figures, and make it to the next level. You can switch your animal cloned self back to normal between levels, but if you need help on two legs, you can always leap to another Clyde.

Seven Clyde, More!
A few quick tips from the Clydester himself: First, remember to send all your other selves through the escape hatch before you teleport, or you won't get as great a score. Second, ride the rocket. Third, make sure you check out the Cheats in the Pause menu.

You can change your costume to one of many interesting and silly options. Check out Princess Clyde, Cowboy Clyde, FrankenClyde or even Devil Clyde! There are many others too. We love to play dress up, so have fun with us.

Fourth, always watch for the weather changes. It even rains sometimes. Fifth, it's not my fault they have me wearing this open-in-the-back hospital gown. If you find the sight of my backside offensive, you can stick tightie whities on me via the Options menu. Sixth, make it quick; time is of the essence. Seventh, get out. Freedom awaits you … and you … and you … and you.
