Xbox Review CornerSudeki ReviewBy t()mbst()ne Taking place in the land of Haskilia, a mysterious race simply known as the Aklorians have been invading, only now the attacks are more frequent and no one knows why. You play Tal, a swordsman who has recently graduated from Military College following in his fathers' footsteps after losing his mother and brother from the ongoing war. It is not until a short way into the game you realize your characters potential after he has teamed up with another three from around Haskilia.
Making up the team of four are two who specialize in melee combat, and two who specialize in ranged combat. Anytime through out the game you can switch to any of the members in your party either during the quest, or in the middle of the battles. Each member has a special skill unique to them so switching players is essential during the quest. The battles all take place in real time, so unlike many other games in this genre, there is no queuing up attacks and then waiting for them to take place. During this time you can select what sort of style the other characters will fight so each character will fight their own battle letting you focus on using any one of them at a time. This makesSudeki an action style rpg which should appeal to many without worrying too much about the other members in your party. During the quest set upon you, you will not only meet memorable characters, but also some of most importance that are crucial to building up your characters strengths and focusing on their weaknesses. With upgradeable weapons, armor and a whole host of magic, the potential for kicking monster butt increases. An easy to grasp combat system in Sudeki makes for simple pick up and play and you will look forward to the many battles that lie ahead without all the complications. With colorful locations to explore, townsfolk to interact with and plenty of side quests, the Xbox pushes your imagination to the limits in this new and exciting RPG from Climax and Microsoft Game Studios.
