Xbox NewsNew Xbox Gaming Lounge opens in Sydney
"How Xbox games should really be played" is Game On Interactive's slogan, and with 24 of the latest high definition Samsung screens, Game on Miranda sets the new standard in Xbox Gaming Lounges. Savvas from Game On believes that "the high definition Samsung screens coupled with the awesome graphics capabilities of the Xbox 360 will make for the ultimate console gaming experience”. Game On plans to add 8 Xbox 360 consoles at launch with more to be purchased throughout the year.
Game On Miranda currently has 24 networked Xboxes displayed on 20 x 58cm Samsung 8ms LCD Screens and 4 gigantic 155cm Samsung DLP rear projection screens. Each of the LCD screens has its own executive high back leather chair, and each 155cm screens has its own suede two-seater lounge. “This layout”, according to Savvas, “is a great configuration to cater for both tournaments and parties. We also have a high definition projector that can be switched between two of our consoles”. “The 20 LCD screens are in a perfect configuration for our Halo 2 tournaments and the lounge area with the rear projection screens is ideal for a party. We plan to utilize the first Xbox 360s on these high definition rear projection screens, I can’t wait to see the look on peoples faces”.
Game on is already looking forward to hosting tournaments with the Xbox 360. “At the moment our Halo 2 tournaments are extremely popular, we believe that Perfect Dark Zero on the (Xbox) 360 will be one of those titles that lends itself perfectly to a tournament”. Co-owner Savvas, otherwise known as "Mastiha" is also one of the creators of XboxZone.com.au and a long standing member of the Xbox community.
