What does being a part of the Xbox Community mean to you?

Being a part of the Xbox community with our PodCast OzBoxLive Radio means everything, as I am a little too passionate about the Xbox 360 and its features. I think its just awesome that we are in this age where we all have “Virtual Friends” that we can talk to and share the same gaming experiences regardless of where one is on the planet. I just love the fact that at any time I can see what my mates are doing on their 360 and then start a Voice Chat or simply invite them to a game… it’s all so seamless. I am very excited to be a part of this community and look forward to getting more Australians connected and playing with them over Xbox Live. Hopefully this is something I can accomplish with our Interviews that are actually recorded over Xbox Live.

Who are some of your main Xbox Live mates who you game with often and why?

TURGID DAHLIA – We played a huge amount of Gears of War with each other. When I first told him about the PodCast and my plans for it. He was the first person to volunteer to be the first guest on the show.

Nushi – Jono and I play a lot of Co-Op games with each other. If it supports Co-Op over Live, chances are we have finished it.

The KarateKid 4 – Mick only recently got connected to Xbox Live and I take full credit for that as well. As I helped convince him to buy an Xbox 360 in the first place. We play a lot of Arcade titles like Street Fighter 2, Bomberman Live and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

KANEIT3000 – Kane mainly uses his 360 for HD-DVD films and plays massive games like Oblivion, Mass Effect and Assassins Creed. Even though he could be playing one of these games or watching a new HD-DVD we still use Xbox Live consistently for Voice Chat.

What is your favourite feature of the Xbox 360 and why?

For me it is the Xbox Live service. I just get so excited when I get home from work and can download a new Demo, Arcade Game and now original Xbox Titles. I can’t wait to download Movies and TV shows in the near future. I remember first hearing about Xbox Live and thinking it would be horrible and laggy, but it just runs so flawlessly regardless of whom you are playing against or where they are.

Who are your hardest opponents in your main Xbox Live games?

I would have to say everyone, as I am just terrible in Online Games. Whether it’s Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Dead or Alive etc. Although I still have a heap of fun playing them. This is why I play so many Co-Op games. That said I am bloody awesome in Gears of War and Crimson Skies making ME the Hardest Opponent.

What is a game you really enjoy but aren’t very good at?

Fight Night Round 3. I absolutely love this game and still put it on for my friends when I want to show off the 360’s graphics. I understand the mechanics and control layout but still can’t get good enough to knock someone out in a couple of rounds.

What has been your favourite gaming moment on the Xbox 360 thus far?

For me it was when I had the entire OzBoxLive team over for a Guitar Hero 3 party at my home. We had two Guitars up and running and everyone was having a great time. I had to grab something out of the cupboard and then when I pulled my projector screen down again my Xbox 360 sign fell down and hit me square in the face. Blood was gushing out everywhere and everyone was telling me to get a tissue but I was having so much fun in Guitar Hero that I wanted to finish the song first.

What are a few of the games you’re looking forward to in 2008?

I can’t wait for LEGO Batman and LEGO Indiana Jones as it has the fun graphics and game play but with the authentic music and sound effects. I’m most excited about Soul Calibur IV simply because that game over Xbox Live will be unbelievable. Finally I am really looking forward to Too Human as I have been waiting a few years for this title.
